Introduction

The climate of Anguilla is relatively dry, and rainfall is erratic. The average yearly rainfall is 35.4 in (900 mm), with September and October tending to be the wettest months and February and March the driest. Temperatures are rather constant throughout the year, with average daily maxima between 27°C (80.6°F) in December and 30°C (86°F) in July. Hurricanes may occur between June and November, typically peaking from August to mid-October.

Old house and former farm land. Farming is challenging in the dry climate.
