Features of Natural Interest

Some more exposed areas with poor, rocky soils, such as around The Bluff on Cayman Brac, are important for cacti (e.g. Pilosocereus), air plants Tillandsia spp., and other succulents like Agave subulifera. On Grand Cayman an endemic agave, A. caymanensis is increasingly threatened by habitat loss.
