During low tide, large pools of water are left behind in the rocky areas of the seashore. These vast rock pools are also host to a wide variety of marine life, including colourful beadlet anenomes, butterfish, which are approximately 20cm long, and cling fish, which are only approximately 5cm long. Click here to see a leaflet on Jersey’s rockpool species.
