Projects / Conservation Actions

In addition to action plans, much conservation work is carried out for individual species/groups of species. A PhD student, named Orly Razgour, from the University of Bristol, carried out research in Jersey in 2011. The aim was to survey grey long-eared bats Plecotus austriacus. The results of the survey fed into a management plan for this species. While she was in Jersey, Orly also provided conservation biology training for this species, to the Jersey Bat Group. See more about this project and the management plan here.
